Melanie has had a varied career, with experience in both aviation and massage therapy. However, she realized that her true passion lay in personal finance. After obtaining her first mortgage and feeling dissatisfied with the experience, Melanie decided to enter the mortgage industry with the goal of providing superior service to her clients.

Melanie is particularly passionate about educating first-time home buyers on the mortgage process. She believes that no question is too small and is dedicated to guiding her clients through the home buying process, providing them with the resources they need to make informed decisions.

In 2017, Melanie made Cochrane her home after living in Calgary for a decade. Being from Saint John, NB, Cochrane offers her the small-town community feel she grew up with. She lives with her partner Adam and their 3 cats: Cleo, Ajax & Mumbai.

Raised in a household where community service and school involvement were modeled by her parents, Melanie is committed to giving back and can often be found lending a hand at various activities around Cochrane. Melanie is a lover of animals, especially cats, and spends much of her free time volunteering at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society. She is currently a board member with the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Rocky Mountain Rotary. Her interests include traveling, reading, and networking with like-minded individuals.
